Lattice Smocking Panel and Instructions

This is a pre-printed 1m square interfacing to enable you to create a perfect smocked panel. Lattice is probably the most-recognised design.

Canadian smocking is a way of marking, pinching, pleating and sewing fabric to create beautiful, textured designs on fabric. These panels are pre-printed with the design, which means no drawing grids! Simply iron the printed interfacing on to the wrong side of your fabric and hand-sew the red lines.

Plain cotton fabric shows the design well, we’ve used a soft canvas.

These instructions show how to create your lattice smocked panel, you can choose what you’ll make with it! Bags and cushion covers are ideal.

Included are instructions to make a simple, lined cushion cover.
