Things to bring your own sewing machine

We’re looking forward to once again welcoming Suzie Duncan for a sewing workshop in September.

Join Suzie and Debbie Shore to learn how to make a a Tartan Stars patchwork project using the new Liberty fabric collection Postcards from the Highlands – kit included in the price and contains all fabric and wadding needed for this project.

We will have a break for lunch so we ask that you bring your own food. We have a fridge, kettle and microwave if you wish to use any of these facilities you are welcome to. Teas and coffees will be provided throughout the day as well as water and cakes (the necessities!)

Please bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit

We have a small number of JUKI sewing machines available to rent if you aren’t able supply your own at £5 for the day. Please let us know when you book if you will need a sewing machine.

What else you’ll need to bring –

Scissors or rotary cutter

Steel ruler OR quilter’s cutting ruler

Thread

Pins or clips

if you have a mini iron then do bring along with a an ironing mat or wool pressing mat

Best press ironing spray if possible

Fabric Marker Pen if possible

Places are limited to ten so please book early.

You’ll find us opposite the Tollemache Arms. Wheelchair access is available via a lift, and there is ample parking on site.

10% discount in the Debbie Shore Sewing store on the day. Please note: Half Yard Sewing Club Member discount not applicable to this ticket, but will be available on the day. Please purchase your ticket separately to other items online.
